FIT & CARE
How do I clean my French Knot slippers?
Don’t put them in the washer, even on hand wash! We suggest spot cleaning with water and mild soap. If you spill something on the wool or the suede gets dirty, use a damp cloth and mild soap (if needed) on the stain. Use water sparingly, but it’s ok to dampen and let them air dry. We don't recommend wearing your slippers outdoors unless you have waterproofed or treated the soles before hand.
I received my item, but it feels a little snug?
Our accessories are handcrafted by artisans, so no two pieces are exactly alike. If a hat feels a little snug, we suggest using an iron on steam setting to steam and stretch the hat to resize it (see our illustration below).
My pom pom looks a little flat. What can I do?
This is an easy fix. Use a fine bristle brush to lightly fluff pom to original shape. (see our illustration below)
Can I wash my French Knot knitwear?
Your French Knot knitwear has been hand-knit with high-quality natural wools. We recommend hand washing in cold water only to preserve color and shape with a light detergent, like Soak. It's eco-friendly and developed to be as easy on the environment as it is on your knits. It’s perfect for handwashing your French Knot accessories and apparel or for travel and gifting.
Made with plant derived and renewable ingredients biodegradable, phosphate-free, dye-free, sulphate-free safe for hand or machine washing (including HE) flight friendly.
How it works: Just Soak and squeeze. No need to rinse. Lay knits flat to dry.
